Re: 74 F-350

Re: Pillar Ashtrays

No they are pretty easy to spot. Right inside the door.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Not sure what it would take to find them. Mine came with the truck and had the bubble gum wrapper and beer cap option installed in both.

Re: Good one

He must have added them. There are also interior lights on either side above the seat belt on the B pillar that look the same dome light with two map lights like I had in my '88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Hard to tell since you can't see if the factory cargo light switch is there.

Re: Your latest Regular Cab adventure

I'll start posting when there is something worthwhile to see. Right now it is just a pile of parts splattered all over the garage, and I'm pretty certain that everyone on this site knows what that mess looks like. It is coming apart well. I have only had to cut one bolt that was rusted in place and ...

Racetrack Moldings

I am looking for two pieces of racetrack trim for my 1979. Right front fender lower and left bed rear lower. 8-foot box. Any condition considered. Thanks for checking.

Re: Your latest Regular Cab adventure

FINALLY! After 23-years sitting, this thing is coming back to life. My daughters graduated college, got an apartment together and real jobs that don't involve driver-through windows or french fries. Basically I got a huge raise and can afford to start this project. Had some friends over for Superbow...

Re: Looking for xlt rear door interior panels for 78'

Not sure if these are XLT trim or not but I have a set of green rear panels in my attic gathering dust. Decent shape. Not great but better than the ones you don't have at all. Some of the plastic clip holders are broken off, but I think they all came from the factory that way. Let me know if you hav...

Re: What have you done with your Crew Cab lately?

Kinda funny. In the summer of 1990 I was at a friend's house for a backyard BBQ and I mentioned to him that I was looking for a 78-79 4 door Ford. About a week later, I see an ad in the paper for just what I wanted. I call the number and the girl tells me where I can go see the truck. I get there an...
