Bronco and Panel

Postby OrthmannJ » Mon Feb 25, 2019 11:52 am

My coworker sent me these photos. I believe they were taken at a truck stop. He was on his way to the Tulare Farm show in California.
They look like show rigs to me.

I like the panel for a number of reasons, but I think the main one is that you just don't see a ton of them around. First gen Broncos, no mater how awesome, are pretty plentiful. Heck, I can see one out my office window right now. (no, it's not mine)

I did some surfing on the inner-webs and was able to glean some information about the 57 Cummins Panel.

It appears to have been built by an outfit called Five R Trucks and it appears to have been at SEMA this year.
Unfortunately the website for Five R Trucks seems to be having issues, so I didn't really gather much from them.

I would sure like to have that panel for the afternoon so I could plop it into a mud puddle and see what it is made of. I'm not a big fan of driveshafts with a couple coats of wax on them. Toys need to be played with.

I have several pics of that panel from SEMA. I looked at it up close for quite a while, and only later figured out they did it for a TV show. The show is probably on Netflix or YouTube, but I haven't searched. Pretty much any vehicle that used 2005-up Superduty axles to create a custom 4-link suspension I look at very closely.
