PACrew, how do you search? The best method I've found is searchtempest, I type in all the years I want then "or" it with crew cab and ford. Export the RSS file to google reader so I can scan all the craigslist sites across the country in a half hour or so.

PS- I grew up just south of Butler, PA and my parents and most of my extended family still live there. Can't say I've seen too may of these trucks around there!

Search Tempest. I use the craigslist search, get all the results instantly. Sometimes the site gives me problems, especially when I use the ebay search on Search Tempest, it usually wont pull anything up, even though there is a crew listed in ebay's main site. I have never been to Butler but close by a few times, especially Allegheny National Forest area. I wanted to transfer to Army Corps of Engineers at Tionesta a few years back, but it didnt work out. And you are right, unfortunately there are very few trucks around here :?

I find that searchtempest accumulates all the stale spam ones and misses some of the recent ones so I stopped using it directly. The RSS feeds tend to drop the spam soon after they get flagged.

I ran through all the cities in my feed and posted them in the online section. Took a bit longer than normal since I hadn't checked it in a month.

My aunt and uncle had their ski boat docked in the Tionesta reservoir one summer so we were up there several weekends. Nice area.

OP-sorry for the thread jack. Nice truck!

Congrats on the truck, and since these trucks are getting harder to find, its not very likely to find one in your own backyard. I found mine 900 miles from home. Truck looks great and we all love pics and more pics.
Ive found some crews looking on search tempest also, but if there is another secret way to do a better search please share.

PA, thanks for asking. My truck is still in CA @ my brother's place. He has done some rust work on the rain gutters. It's still winter here in Denver, 6in snow this AM. I will get it transported out here in upcoming weeks. No, mama doesn't know yet, but I've been dropping some subtle hints. I'll post again when it's in my hands, thanks again for the inquirey. Joe
