Blue 79 crew on the home page

Postby somethingclever » Sun Feb 03, 2013 2:14 am

Is it a member's truck? wow...looks incredible.

BTW this is my first post...didn't see an "introduction" section. I live in SW PA...currently own a 79 F250 4x4 std cab and a 75 F250 Highboy converted to a 1 ton dump.

Looking to add a 67-79 crew in the future.

If you are interested in a truck similar to that, there is one that was just listed in the "free classifieds" section.

If you are talking about the Blue Crewcab with the aluminum nerf bars I know a little about it. I bought 2 crewcabs from a guy in Missouri about 5 years ago. When I went up there to pick them up the guy had that truck in his garage. He built it or had it built. He was a house painter and I have a few pictures of it in his yard. He told me it hasn't been driven in the rain since the restore. It was the best looking restore that I have ever seen on a crewcab. It has a 460 and c-6 After I seen it at his house I then saw it on youtube for sale a few years later. It was at a classic auto sales place somewhere.

I just thought of it. You might be able to locate the guy from the license plate number on the front of the truck. Maybe he knows where it went. Good luck I would love to see how the truck is doing now and how it looks.
