thought I would give a update

engine is currently to the point of a long block

I decided to go with a Kaase oil pump for peace of mind got it today

so I should have the bottom end buttoned up by this weekend

still waiting on pushrods to show up full roller setup required shorter pushrods

I lifted cab and front clip off the dually as one unit that will make engine swap alot easier plus I installing poly cab mounts as the rubber ones are not doing so well

Sounds like it is coming along. Can't wait to see the finished product.
What exhaust are you going to run? Are you going to Dyno the engine when you finish it?

since the max rpm is 4500 on a rare occasion I am sticking with stock manifolds and dual 2.5" pipes

don't have any dynos in my area so doubtful it will get on a dyno

It It Lives

took it for a test drive it builds speed in OD like it use to in direct drive

got it up to 97 MPH before my buddy chickened out

the OEM EFI so far is playing nice with the added cubes

only change I did to the EFI system was upgrade the injectors to 36# ones

real good throttle repsonce

this day is a good day

it is leaking PS fluid from the Reservoir I think I stressed it to much moving the return line on the search for a astro van pump can

Better late than never but that is awesome it lives!

So how does it run on a regular basis? How about MPG's? Looking at the build that thing seems like it would be a torque monster. Done a dyno pull yet?

it has the torgue to twist the truck when pulling from a stop

prolly never see a dyno unless I come across a free one

desktop dyno

runs really well on a dialy basis hauls my toys with ease
