need mounts INFOFORD

Postby 4doordream » Wed Feb 22, 2012 2:25 pm

...i just got me a 460 out of a motorhome with under 50,000, i wouldlike to put it in my CC, My question is for infoford: do your mounts work for '76 "highboy" style 4x4 frame, which i think i narrower slightly than 78.79's?? i will try and include some pics if nothing else for eye candy...
Should your mounts work, i would like to order a set from you asap.

also can i use the stock isulator for the 460 i got from motorhome? thanks

currently I do not have perches that are known to work for sure

I do have a set that is intended for the F150 4x4 1976 vintage

if you can verify if the frame perch from 150 is the same as a 250 then yes I would have a set

Van mounts are a creature of their own

my perches require 1983-1997 460 Fseries mounts

I used frame perches out of a bump side highboy 4x4 on my 76 F100 4x4. Al the perches that i found from 67-77 were the same from 1/2 to 3/4 ton.

maybe up to 1976 the 77 had bolt location changes with the 351M/400 introduction

I have a set of perches that were designed for the F100 1976 4x4

I have not been able to locate a F250 1976 4x4 to verify if they fit

blueoval stated he interchange the FE perches between the F100 and F250

this helps

I have posted on this site a offer for anybody that wants to be the test subject to verify my perches work on the 76 and earlier f250 4x4 or what mod is needed to make em work
