SOMEBODY, Help me.

Postby bear » Sun Aug 09, 2009 3:52 pm

This 'aint cc related but I'm sure at least a few of you have faced this problem. How do you get the front drivers side spark plug out (and in) on an '86 ford E-350?? I bought this 26' motorhome on Friday in Ephrata off of Craigslist for $1200. I've had a fairly easy time replacing the other 7 plugs and wires (also cap, rotor, fuel filter and air filter ) and it runs MUCHO better even with the one old plug and wire still on it. Thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,, Bear

I work on newer econolines. but 86 thats going to be a 351w or a 460 im assuming? Theres all kinds of tricks we do with the modular engines but can you get a spark plug socket on it at least? and if you can, is it one of those sockets with the 7/8 head on it you can get a wrench onto? creativity, use universals and extensions. sometimes going through the inner fender is the ticket.
