It's like Christmas in summer! Gotta love opening up new go fast parts.

Yes it is! :D

Again, in my experience the FiTech stuff is a good value. Think you'll be happy with it once it's all set up and tuned up.

That's good to hear. It's a big step for me, so I'm glad to hear it.

Is that your wagon in the background?

Yes sir. That was also Grandpa's. He bought it new in 64.

Just picked up the wheels from the powdercoater's and dropped the truck off at the tire shop.

I'm pretty excited to see how she looks with her fancy refinished shoes.

Here's the truck with the new wheels installed.
Not the best photo, but it works. They look really good in person.

Hoping to get to the new intake and EFI this weekend. We'll see how things go.

Looks good even in the pictures!

Worst part of the EFI install is messing with the return line.

Thanks for the insight. I'm anxious about this project. I can't wait to get it going, but at the same time I'm a little trepidatious. Never done a job like this before. The truck is also my DD right now since my usual DD, the 96 is still out of commission, so I don't want to tear into it and then not be able to get it done.

But I think I just need to take the bull by the horns and dive in. This coming holiday weekend will be the perfect time to do it.

Honestly it really isn't that much harder than installing a carb.

Are you using the same ignition that you have now or did you buy a distributor and coil along with the EFI?

Are you using the fuel command V2 or are you building your own fuel system?

Did something go wrong with your injector job on the PowerStroke?
