The wobble seems worst when turning at about 45 mph. I can either speed up or slow down and it goes away. My tires are worn out 35"ers. I believe my wobble is aggrivated by some wheels out of balance, so I'm going to have them dynamic balanced, I have had them rebalanced twice in the last thousand miles, it was little help but I don't think the tire shop dynamic balanced them. I've rotated them and it helped a little.
On a stock height pickup, are there any known issues with caster, camber or toe, When I go to the alignment shop I can have him set it up different than stock if need be. Any ideas? It's still lower on the driver side.
I havent seen anyone else have this problem, is it uncommon?
I am considering a track bar, as I understand it the preferred arrangement is to have the track bar the same length and angle as the drag link (on crossover steering). I am also considering a junkyard bar.
Anyone know a good cheap place to get kingpin rebuild kits? Any pointers on the kingpin rebuild? Thanks.

I had some worn 33 tsl swampers on my f150 -- same symptoms. Took them to Les Schwab for spin balancing. The Tech there put it very blunt, "No matter how much weight you use, you can't make a football round."

Get new tires.

Hey Bendog
I rebuilt my king pins and it helped alot. New upper pins and bushings new bearing and races on the bottom. got mine from six states boise id. Have fun getting those upper pins out  They are torqued to 500 foot lbs :o
Didnt know they made a allen wrench that big... Didnt have one so used a bolt that the head fit and welded a big nut to it got out the 1" truck air gun and still had to put some heat on one of those suckers
Im thinking of adding a track bar off a 90s ford f-350 to my crewcab. Or building one like Regans been telling me about.
Good luck.

I saw petersons used hex stock to get the upper pins out, 7/8" I think.
Can't really afford a new set of baloney skins right now. Front end rebuild will need doing sooner or later, and if it buy's me some time on the tires I'm running, that is just great.
Ima get the ones Regan posted from e-pay (thanks). I'll try to get a writeup, But once I get started on a project, it's hard to stop and take pics.

Alright I will share with ya our country boy way of getting the cones out. All you do is take a 7/8" lugnut (long one) and put it in the hole. Heat the side of the knuckle with a torch a bit and pop it right out with an impact. :) Been doing them that way for years.

Country boy way= easy, quick and cheap. Sounds like the smart way to me.

Got my rebuild kits from regan's e-pay guy, Spicer stuff, reasonably priced, fast shipping, happy with them.
Now if I can get a weekend off I'll get it done.
I did find the two best tires thru trial and error and put em on the front. I still feel the wobble but it's on the rear now and I don't have to pull over and stop to get them to smooth out anymore.
After this, Ima have a local shop reverse my center link taper so I can put the drag link in from the back and hopefully eliminate the annoying clunk and slop when the drag link causes the center link to rotate up and down during turns.
Then it's alignment time, then tires, then maybe a track bar if it wont act like I want it to.
I'll try to post up some pics of the king pin rebuild.
