1976 Highboy on Bring a Trailer

Post by Shift1 »

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1976-ford-f-350/

This one was on Ebay in March for $38k. Came out of a collection in Lewiston I believe.

I will take a guess that it is worth 28-30k. I woulda said 35k a few weeks ago, but I think the timing is off. I will be happy if wrong.

Rides:
1974 F-250 Crewcab Shortbed 4x4 460/4spd Coyote swapping
1953 Ford F-100 Custom-- Current project --on Explorer Frame.
1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible Custom
2014 Lincoln MKZ Wife's
2016 Ford Focus -- Daughter's
2003 Lincoln LS --- Daughter's

I don't see any reason why it won't land at 45-50. Would have done better without the 'F-350' debacle, and a real photoshoot.

Looks like a nice clean truck. I like the hub caps. (man those are hard to find!) It will be interesting to see what it goes for.

Those caps are nice - I have a few sets available if anyone needs them.

No such thing as caps for 4x4's, all the ones like this that you see have the front centers cut to fit.

I might be interested in a set. They don't have to be perfect, just reasonably straight. Had them stolen off the 73 while it sat waiting to be revived last year. But I know OrthmanJ was really after a set so he should go first. PM with details if there's anything left!

I would not have expected over 40. Good deal for the seller at that price.

I have come to the conclusion that there are enough idiots in this world today that no price is too high...if someone wants it they will pay dang near anything! I shake my head constantly at the insanity that ensues when someone tries to buy my truck from me. Most of the time I just walk away, but there are times when I can't help but laugh and realize that the current status of intelligence will only get worse. #smh

I say it takes an idiot NOT to believe these are becoming worth great money. After all, we're hardly talking the price of a Kia here, let's be real..

41k was under-value. Had he hired a professional photographer it would have been over 45k.
