Wiring short

Postby mowin_mike » Mon Jan 18, 2010 11:24 am

I have narrowed my short to a silver box mounted under the horn, pass. side of radiator. It has a 4 prong plug with 5 wires going into it. The box is about 3"x3" and an inch or so thick...the only markings on it are "Wells made in USA, short circuit protected" Where the plug goes in there are 4 letters (from L to R), I A S F.

I was wondering if anyone could ID this box...

thanks, Mike D.,

That one is a simple fix.. make sure the 4 wire plug is good, if its loose, you may want to replace it. HMC sells a cheap one if I remember.

Gotta love those simple electrical fixes.
They always seem to be few and far between. ;)
