New wiring Harness

Post by dromero »

I'm looking at buying a new wiring harness for my '74 Crew. Does anybody have exp or recommendation on Cen-tech's new harness or Painless's new harness?? Thanks

Never heard of Cen-tech. Doesn't mean they aren't worth looking into.

I've never personally used Painless, but a few people I know have used their product and have been very happy with the results.

I also am looking to replace my trucks wireing asmy dash lights dont work as well as other wireing problems im having with my nutcase rig lol. I know that painless does not as of yet make a wireing harness for a 79 cc or the super cabs of yet. and if they did they would be pricey, the bronco one i wanted for my 79 was 1400 bucks. They did tell me they were looking into starting to make and sell one. I talked to one of the head guys at centech who makes the new custom ford harness at centech, he has been doing this for 14 years or more. told me about the harness and that it comes with all the connectors you will need is a 12 or 18 volt and you send him your dash cluster as well as the circuit ribbon and he will make sure it all works on your cluster. And the price is only 465 if i rember right.
Im gonna go with the centech when i get the scratch put together....
