I haven't started a build thread for it yet. The motor mounts were designed and are being manufactured by Fat Fender Garage. I gave them a frame and a cab to use for the design. I got first set of mounts. :D

I've bought some C10 stuff from them in past. Seems like a good outfit and I thought the stuff I bought was reasonably priced as well.

Went up to the lake a few weeks ago, forgot to share these photos.
They've been letting the water out for the fall irrigation, so the water level is already pretty low.

My younger brother just upgraded to a brand new F-150 super-crew. It's a pretty nice truck. I'll keep my 96.

Gave the old mule a coat of wax. Not too bad for original paint that had to deal with 40-years of New Mexico sun.

Kinda funny. In the summer of 1990 I was at a friend's house for a backyard BBQ and I mentioned to him that I was looking for a 78-79 4 door Ford. About a week later, I see an ad in the paper for just what I wanted. I call the number and the girl tells me where I can go see the truck. I get there and ..no truck. It was a girl from the BBQ. I remember seeing her but we did not talk to each other. She heard me talking about the truck and ran the ad so I would call and we could meet. We were married in 1993 and she bought me this truck as a Christmas present in 1995. I still have her and the truck.

We're already getting snow in the mountains! We went over White Pass a couple of weekends ago and there was a dusting in the trees up the ski slope.

It's fire season for us! Couple of fires over the last two days made it next to impossible to get out of town so I just worked from home today.

I saw that Denver went from 83 degrees at 3pm to 29 degrees and snowing by midnight on Wednesday. That's nuts!

I vacuumed the cypress tree "leaves" off my trucks windshield, cowl and rear engine compartment that showed up thanks to all the wind we've had. That's the extent of what I've down with my crew cab lately :)
